So … we’ve got 48 hours to save the world. Sixty locations across the planet, hundreds of teams from east to west working simultaneously on one challenge.

Here are some of the rules: do different things, get inspired, be creative, doing not talking. Remember, it’s not science.


With 48 hours to save the world, people need nourishment. The Global Sustainability Jam, Heidelberg, kicked off with essential vitamins in the form of soup. (There were other vitamins in the form of beer and wine.)

Thus sustained, the four teams of five broke off  to start discussing the challenge (can’t tell you what it is yet!)
